It has transpired th.it the trenty wliioh was signed yesterday by the Bey of Tunis and the commander of the French troops in th.*t country will virtu illy autiul the autonomy of the Tunisian State, and reduce the Bey to the position of a vassal of France. By the terms of the tieaty the Bey ha* agreed 10 place the complete control of the finances of hi* kinjjdon in the hands of the Commissioners appointed by the French Government, and to accept the indication of France with irg.ird to his foreiyu policy and i elation--. TMp risrht of despatching troops to any part of Tunisian territory was also secured to France by the compact.
