The execution of the Peere decrees for the expulsion of the Jesuits from France has been completed and their legality upheld.
London, November 6. Mr Lyell, the special commissioner despatched from Simla by the Indian Government to superintend the settlement of affairs at Kandahar, advocates the retention of Kandahar by the British and the construction of a railway to connect Kandahar with Indian territory.
