Sib, — I am surprised to find that none of our enterprising sheep -breed era have replied to Mr Graham' a noto in your columns in reference to the loss of hoggets in the early part of the year. Many settlers have suffered in a greater or lesser degree and all to whom I have spoken on the subject are at a loss to discover the cause. I hope the subject will not bo allowed to rest without some enquiry being instituted. — lam, &c, ( S. J.
