Pretender was by Mr Jenkiuson's Old Fire Away, who covered in London for several years at five guineas, and trotted two miloa on tli3 Oxford Road in five minutes, andi nme liat'jlv sold for one thousand gurnet, -Tnd Oatton won the RoyalAgiicultur.il Society, s Piize at Lincoln, as the best tiottiug stallion in England. Young Performer took the first prize for tho bj.se roadster stallion, agaiu-t all horsey at the la-t New Zealand Agricultural Society's Cattle Show. IS7B.
