THOROUGHBRED STOCK.

Six young thoroughbred shorthorn bulls arrived in Auckland last week, by the Sam Mendel, from London. They have been purchased by Thomas Russell, Esq., on behalf of the Waikato Land Association. These animals arrived at Hamilton on Saturday, and were taken to Woodlands on Sunday. We understand the bulls obtained prizes at the last Agricultural Show held at Birmingham. In passing through Hamilton the animals were detained opposite Gwynne's Hotel for half an hour, and were very critically examined by a number of leading settlers and othei's, who, one and all, expressed great admiration. The bulls arrived safely at their destination on Sunday evening. The ComjKiny are to be congratulated on this further addition to their already magnificent herd.
