ST. ANDREW'S, CAMBRIDGE.
It will have been seen by the advertisement in Saturday's issue, that a comrmuzioue will be held in the Public Hall, Cambridge, this evening (Tuesday), in aid of the building fund of the new church. Should the weather be five, there is every prospect of great numbers of church people availing themselves of this opportunity of spending a pleasant !>ocial evening, and hearing matters of such pavamouut interest discussed as the building of the new church. We should be glad to see church folk coming forward in strong numbers to give their incumbent all the support he deserves and requires in this matter. The Rev. William Caldar (incumbent of St. Peter's, Hamilton), will be present ; and we hope also the Rev. H. S. Da vies (Hamilton East), and the Rev. E. J. Phillips (of Te Awamutu). Tea will be on the table by 6 o'clock, to be cleared away by 7.30, when music and speeches, from tho.se well able to contribute them, will form a very pleasant evening's amusement and instruction.
