LAST NIGHT'S NEWS. CAMBRIDGE FARMERS' CLUB. [BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.] (FROM OUR SPECIAL REPORTER.)
CAMBRIDGE, Last Night. Tin: usual monthly meeting of the F»rmcrs' Club was held this afternoon, but the hu&inos-* done vsis of au unitnpoitant nature. A report on the pioposed Drainage Bill was brought up and ordeted to be forwarded to Mr Mm ray, M.H.E., the framer of the Bill.
South Auckland Cattle Board. A meeting 1 of the Cattle Board was held immediately afterwards, at which Messrs. Maclean* (chairman), Fantham, and Storey were' present. The chairman intimated that there were no fresh cases reported. Mr Naden, who was in attendance, said he had inspected Mr Booth's cow aud found no symptoms of Plemo. He found the animal grazing, and her breathing was regular.
