A. C. Foboe v. Cambridge Cricket . Club. This match was played on the Cambridge ground on Saturday last, and resulted m another victory for the A.C. Force, who won by 41. runs. The Cambridge 'bowlers were woll on the but the batting of the A.O. men was very steady, and their bowling was also very good, Martin taking three wickets m one over. Kilkenny and Bodilly also bowled well. The batting of the Cambridge team Was rather weak, except m the case of Moore, who made some pretty play; and Clare made a score (16) m the second innings. Cooper for the A.C. team made 14, and not out m the second innings. This player is a hard hitter, and m tho last four matches played at Cambridge he,haa m ide large scores, every innings, except the first one of tuis match, whun his wicket was taken by a shooter from Jones before he could get his eye m. The. A .0. have no w a very strong team, and the victories they have now already won, wipe out the defeats they suffered for several successive seasons.

Next Saturday the return match Hamilton O.C. v. Cambridge CO. is to be played, and the H amilton team will no donbb be strong ; so Cambridge will have to turn out .every day for practice, or they -will not stand much shoy of winning another victory.

The counties match on the 17th is exciting much interest. Steps will be taken to get the ground m good "order m time, and. as the players have been judiciously selected for both counties a close contest may bo anticipated. Waipa -would ssem to be strong m batting power, but Waikato m the bowling. This will be the match of the season, and no doubt there will be many spectators. A.O. Cbioxei Club. First innings.
