I * » J Saturday, Ist November. J (Before H. W. Northcroft, ■ sq., K.M.) Dkunkenness.— James Dunbar pleaded guilty to the above -offence. >s it was his first offence he Was discharged with a caution. Wednesday, oth N T ovEarBER. I Martin Mom's was brought 'up on warrant, charged with using th eatening language towards one Thomas >cott. The alleged offence was committed on Mr Murray's farm m Piako. Mr -'cott is manage for Vr Murray, and the accused was a labouring man who had been working for some time. On Mr Scott discharging him he refused to leave, and made use of tho threats complained.— Mr Hayapappeared on behalf of Mr Scott, and stated that as the prisoner now seemed sor y for what had occurred, Mr Scott would be -willing to withdraw the complaint if his Worship would permit him to do so. The Court consented, and the i otwge was withdrawn. <
