This elegant comedy ran for over three years in London, and has been most successfully played all over the colonies. We intend publishing a synopsis of the play in an early issue. Ox Thursday evening, a meeting of the officers and members of the Hamilton Light Infantry Band took place. The business waa to elect a band sergeant and corperal. Capt. Dawson proposad that Mr A . Williams be band sergeant, which was carried unanimously. The position of corperal was held over till the noxt meeting of the band. They then marched to the drill shead, and played several quick steps in a lively manner after after going through their drill, under Drill Master Warren. The band then marched back to their practic room. Their first appearance in public gave great satisfaction to the Volunteers, and those of the townspeople who were present.
