ORDINATION OP THE REV. H. S. DAVIS.
[By Electric Telegraph.] Last night. The ordination of the Rev. H. S. Davis to Deacon's Orders in the Church of England took place at St. John's Church to-day. The Bishop officiated, assisted' by the Revs. W. Caider and W. N." deL. Willis. The sermon was preached by Mv Caider, aud the Prayers and Epistle read by Mr Willis, and the Gospel by Mr Davis, There was a fair congregation, although the hour, If o'elock, was somewhat inconvenient. The Church was profusely decorated with flowers and evergreens. The :>ff-tory was devoted to the Church Restoration Fund.
