INSULTING LANGUAGE,

Martin Brown was charged with using insulting, and abusive language to Israel and William Petherell. Four previous couvictions were proved against him, and he was fined £3 and costs.

CIVIL SIDE.

Potfcer v. G. Neale ; claim, £8 4s sd, for meat. Defendant was ordered to pay £4 within a month, and 10s per week after ; costs, Ml lis.

Same v, Joy ; claim, £6 ls Id, for meat. Judgment for plainbift with costs, £1 19s.

Fitzgerald v. Howell ; claim, .£1 ss; judgment for plaintiff with costs, £1 16s.

Hill v. Backhouse; claim, £2 lis 3d, for me.-ifc. Mr O'Neill ap--pe_.i-_rl fo iv the plaintiff.. _ No .appear-. ance of defendant. Judgment for full amount and coses, £l 5s 6d.

Black v. Kellet; claim, «gll 12s 6d. Judgment for plaintiff with costs, £2 6s. Mr O'Neill appeared for plaintiff, and defendant did not appear.
