WAIPA ELECTION.

The writ has been now received by the Returning Officer, and a notice appears elsewhere declaring that the nomination will take place on the 18th inst, at the Court-house, Hamilton, and the polling on the 24th inst. A list of the several polling places is as usual appended to the notice.

Great complaints are being made respecting the appointment of the sale-yards at Ohaupo as the polling place there. The Hall, < m the immediate vicinity, would be more suitable, being wind and weather proof. The matter has been represented to Ijhe Government.
