,Sic, — The new bridge lately erected at Walker's Gully, Pukerimu, is now m a fan: way of coming ere long to grief. A large deposit of mud has been for some time allowed to remain tat one end, and, as it serves as a basin to retain the water ■wliich is allowed to run from the road iipon it, the consequence -will be the rotting of the plankß, and endangering the bridge. : What is the active Chairman of the Pukerimu Board about ? Is he so •busy at his end as to have no' tirad to look elsewhere ? — I am, etc., Looker-Ox.
