HumiY Scum l=fc prize, lsov Eight horse r<m» "Wilson's Lady Bird, Ist. Mr J. Bond was ridingMi 1 Good-fellow's horse Darkie. The horse stumbled, throwing Bond on his head. He was insensible for some time, but was able to get home with assistance. He is better this moaning. The first race was the most exciting, all the horses taking the hurdles splendidly. Prima Donna and Count were neck and neck uut:l the last hurdle. All the other razees were well contested, and everybody was well pleased with the afternoon's sport. We expect our ball on Friday next to be a great success, most of the invitations beinjjf accepted. The Cambridge Reed band is engaged.
