THE CAMBRIDGE POST OFFICE
Scb,— The Post Office here has been moved into the new building, and all the thirty private letter boxes taken up. But. alia 1 tho convenience of having them is marred by a knowledge of the fact, that all the locks are of an inferior kind, and .that many of the keys will open most of the other boxes to whioh they do not belong- On comparing the key of my box^with those of two other gentlemen, we found that any of the three keys, would open all three, if not more boxes. '
As the Postal Authorities have oharged £1 each for seven and a half months, we who have boxes think- the locks should be changed for new ones, which no key will open but that which belongs to them.— l am, &c Robert Kiricwood. Cambridge, May 22nd, 1877.
