TE AWAMUTU. April 19th, 1876.
The meeting last night of footbullistg took place in the Central Waikato Hotel. There was a very fair atttendanee ; Mr Lubbin was voted to the chair. A.bout thirty members were enrolled, and the club gives great promise of beiag & success. Sergeant G D Mackintosh wag unanimously elected JOaptain. It was decided to inaugurate the opening of the club by a praciee on S ttarday next in whioh all intending members are invited. Wiiat with Cricket, Foot ball and Dramatic Clubs, Te Awamutu itanda a fair chanoe of holding her own with the reit of the Waikato. — CoaRESPONDENT.
