The defeated youths must gird up their loins if they hope to beat the veteran McNeish. The races consisted of 100yd3 aiaiden race, which, owing t« some dispute, had, no winner up to a late hour. 200 yds won by McNeiih; J Campbell, 2ad. 880 yds handicap, MoNeish, Ist, Kayner 2nd 440 yda handicap, McNoish lso and Kelly 2nd. Mile race, Ist prize £2, won by McNeish ; Hitchmond, 2nd. Throwing cricket ball : Campbell, Ist. Standing long Jump— .McNeish ; Ist, 9ft 10 aud a half inches. Sack race, McKinnon, Ist. Boy's race. Clone, Ist, MoKeirney, 2nd, Running long jump : llitchmond, Ist. The high wind that blew during the greater part of the day made it very unpleasant, but, taking all things into consideration the sports were as good aa could be expected. A meeting of the Church Committee was held on Monday, when it was decided to take steps towards the erection of a Parsonage. — Own Correspondent.
