Several milk venders were fined to-day, 20s to £5 for selling adulterated milk, in which water ranged from eight to 45 per cent. A Poveity Bay telegram states that the Capt. of the cutter Whau has arrived there, the vessel having lost her rudder during a gale and being compelled to beach. The Dover Castle immigrants were landed to-day, one por tion being for Veraey Stewarts settlement.
