WAIPUKURAU TOWN BOARD. IffOTICE is hereby given that the Waipukurau Town Board propose to raise a loan of £3OO under the provisions of the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act 1886 and the Amendments thereto, in one amount of £3OO, bearing interest and forming sinking fund at the rate of 5% per annum for a period of 26 years. The loan to be applied as follows: Dor erecting a system of lighting the streets of the Town District. The amount proposed to be raised is £3OO. As security it is proposed to strike an annual recurring rate of 9/64ths of a penny in the £ to provide interest and sinking fund for the period of 26 years. It is proposed to pay the cost of raising the loan and the first year’s interest out of the principal of the loan. A MEETIN G of Ratepayers to consider the above proposals will be held at the Town Hall, Waipukurau, on THURSDAY, the 3rd day of May, 1906, at 8 p.m. £ W. A. CHAMBERS, Chairman. April 3rd, 1906.
