Important to Farmers.

0 Mr P. W. Sampson —representing Willoughby & Co., Dannevirke, and Donald & Sons, Ltd., Masterton—is now in this district for the purpose of introducing and taking orders for a number of useful and labour-saving contrivances lately patented. Donald’s Pocket Wire Strainer is claimed to be the best, simplest, and cheapest strainer yet invented, and the numerous testimonials received certainly bear out the claim, the users being loud in their praise. The following is a sample of the letters received- — From Mr J. Waller, Pohonui “ I find it the simplest and quickest strainer I have seen, especially for slack fences.” The price is only 15r. Another variety, very useful, is the Federal Wire Strainer, which remains permanently on the fence, and as the wire becomes slack it can speedily be re-tightened by a turn with the detachable lever handle,. Price 20s per 100. A very ingenious, handy tool is the combined staple extractor, wire strainer, spanner, cutter, splicer, etc., which can be carried in the pocket. No farmer should be without one of these ; cost, 6/6. Mr Sampson can also take orders for wool presses, oil engines, lifting jacks, sheep-shearing machines, etc, all of reliable quality and at lowest prices. Illustrated catalogues and full particulars may be obtained from Mr Sampson, who will remain in Waipukurau for a few days.
