—o-o Miss ROOSEVELT’S WEDDING Miss Alice Roosevelt, daughter of the President of the United States, was married on Saturday to Mr Nicholas Longworth, a member House of Representatives. ceremony took place in an apartment at White House, and was attended by 950 people, including a daughter of the late General Grant. A thousand presents were received, including gifts from the Pope, the Mikado, and the Empress of China. Immense popular interest was x taken in the wedding. Excursion trains carried fifteen thousand people to Washington to watch the bride’s departure. ' GENERAL.
