HAYWARD’S PICTURES. A great detective story entitled ’'Unerring Justice,” forms one of the numerous star items to be screened at the Lyceum Theatre to-night. This film, besides giving the spectator a thrilling defective story, showing the methods employed by the sleuth-hounds of the law, depicts a number of scenes among the loftv snowclad Rockies. “A Modern School of Itab ian Cavalry” depicts some remarkable feats of horsemanship, and is one of the best films of tins class yet seen here. At full gallop the company fords rivers, clears walls, ascends and descends the sides of steep gullies at full speed and with incredible surefootedness, while still more difficult pieces of ground are later negotiated; some almost perpendicular descents being taken, and a long line of riders taking their mounts down a long descent, along the top of a crumbling wall, ending by a plunge into the river. The remainder of programme will include "A General’s Fate,” a splendid coloured dramatic; "The Sherrill’s Brother,’’ an exciting Western story; “Thwarted Vengeance,” a strong and appealing drama; the latest Patho Gazette. Several highly diverting comedies also find a place in a series recommended with the utmost confidence. This programme can only lie seen in Wanganui for to-night. Another complete change will be given to-morrow evening. On Friday evening the management will screen a special attraction of scenic matures lately secured by Mr C, P. Newham, who has been on an extended tour through the Taranaki district. A trip on the Mokau River shows some delightful scenery. “A Day in New Plymouth, showing its people progress, and principal sights, should bo seen bv all picture lovers, The box plan is on view at H.
