(FUOM OUIt OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Wellington, Oct. 30. The Hon. Mr Sewell has resigned the office of Minister of Justice. The reason is said to be Ministerial disagreement. The Hon. Mr Waterhouse succeeds him. The adjourned inquest upon the body of Cohen, the Auckland auctioneer, has resulted in a verdict that the deceased died from strychnine selfadministered whilst under severe mental excitement. The deceased was much concerned in respect to • his final examination as a bankrupt. Sir George Arney, while presiding in bank-rupti-y, adverted in feeling terms to his shocking fate.
