A meeting of delegates of Thursday Cricket Clubs was held in the Club Hotel last evening. Present; Messrs W. G. Cargill (in the chair), and R, A Scott (Midlands), Chas. Ewington and I). Pqwnall, and Dr. Johnston (Carter: ton); secretary and treasurer, Mr W. p. pargill j management cpmmitfee, Messrs Scott, pargili, Johnston, De Lacey, Nicol, Jjaiinin, Jackson and j Kivirigton, The subscription was fixed at 10s fid for one team, or 15s for two; the colours of the association to be black and white, #lt was resolved that two rounds of "championship matches be played, and Messrs Scott, Oargilt and woro elected a Postponement Com-. niittee, their decison in the event of inclement weather to be final.
