Tuosday, Of 332 on tho Carterton School Roll, 816 were presented for examination. Tho attendance average of this school, for the past 12 months, is larger than that of any other Wairarapa school. The Directors of the tialefield Dairy Company, called their milk suppliors togother last night, and discussed with them the outlook for the coming season. Mr Booth, the Chairman, advised them all to get milk ajrators and faithfully use ithem. It was decided to consign (their output of cheeso to Glasgow, this season. This morning in the adjournod action of Police v. H. B, Tucker, for an alleged breach of the Licensing Laws, after bearing argument, Mr Hutchison, S.M., reserved judgment until Friday next,
