Tho discussion on the Bank agreement is to take place on Wednesday next. Mr Bell has given notice to then move as follows: -" That this House dissents from the contract made between the Bank of Now Zoalaud and the Colonial Bank of Now Zealand, upon tho grounds: (1) That the contract is notsnch as is permitted by section 36 of the Bank of Now Zealand and Banking Act; (2) that sufficient information is not contained in tho contract, or supplied to tho House, to enable it to determine whether the contract will bo advantageous to the Bank of New Zealand and to the Colony; (3) that the House is not informed whether any, and if so, what, part of tho agreed price is estimated for goodwill; (4) that tho contract itself discloses matters which apparently make it uudeBirable that tho House endorse its torms."
