Should athletes moke? Opinions ate considerably at variance on the subject, but the verdict of most modern scientists would lead to the conclusion that youth, while training, should abstain from smoking pipes, cifc'arcltos, nod strong tobacco, A mild cigar on the other hand may safely be indulged in, and the laslest novelty, toossard's Cavoufs, eau be recommended to one and nil, They tiro mild, fragrant, and in every respect suitable for the successful sportsman, as well for tho one who is out of it, A packet of eight costs only one ahilling and three-pence. Athletes go for them and bo victorious.—Advt
