Friday. The ordinary monthly meeting of the School Committee' was held on Wednesday evening, when the folatwing were present;— Messrs W. "flßnton (chairman), W. Fry, D. Smith, J. Vile, W. Toogood, and F, W, Good (Secretary). The minutes of the previous meetine were read and confirned. The Treasurer reported a credit balance of £ls Os fid, and £ll7s 6d was passed for payment. Mr H. Crawley wrote resigning his positiop as a pommittce-mari, ajjd Mr 0. Kent-Johnston was unani : inQUsiy elected to fill the vacancy. " : Sir' W. Fry resigned his position as Treasurer, and Mr Kent-Johnston jfo was elected in his stead. Headmaster reported that everything was progressing favourably, and that the roJ| number is increasing, Alsq that the Inspector hail visited the School, and had ' found everything satisfactory. .. !flie visitor's report was satisfactory, afld Messrs Toogood and KentJohnston were appointed visitors for the ensuing month.
