WEDDING AT MASTERTON.

Mr. GEORGE WILSON TO MISS A. M. FEIST.

A wedding of more than usual interest was celebrated at the Masterton Presbyterian Church, this morning, when Mr George Wilson, of the firm of Messrs Aitken, Wilson and Co,, Wellington, was united to Miss Annie M. Feist, eldest daughter of Mr Edwin Feist, ono of Masterton's oldest and most respected settlers,

The Church was filled in every part, and in recognition of tlio bride's long and active connection with Church work, tlio service was a choral one, and the interior was specially decorated for the occasion. The bride, who was given away by herfather, was charmingly attired in a remarkably handsome dark brown robe, flecked with electric blue and trimmed with electric blue silk with becoming bonnet to match. She was attended by two bridosmaids—Miss Maggie Feist (sister to the bride) and Miss Isabella McLachlan.of Gladstono—both dressed in handsome costumes of dark green, and roso and green brocho, with black lace hats trimmed with pink roses, Mr J. G. W. Aitken, J.P., of Wellington, and partner with Mr Wilson, acted as host man, many guests from Wellington and other parts also boing present. At the closo of the service tho bridal party drove to tliorosidonce of the bride's parents, where aboutthirty guests were entertained at the weddlhgbrcakfast, laid in the grounds, aftonvhicli the newly-wedded couple departed—amid warm congratulations— on theirhoucymoontrip,whieh will be round the Australian colonies, first sponding a few days at Napier. Many friends and woll-wishera assembled at the station to see Mr and Mrs Wilson commence their journey amidst showers of rice and hoarty good wishes. Mrs Wilson wore a handsome travelling dress of dark green tweed, with volvothat to match.
