This afternoon, Mr Alfred William Innes, the eldest son of Mr J, B, Lines, of Wellington, was married at St. Mary's Church to Miss Alice Mary ffreelli, daughter of Mr Joseph Freelb, who fqr maijy yeays was Clerk of Court at Masterton, and who is now a resident of New Plymouth.

Archdeacon Oovett conducted the marriage service, which was of full choral character, and on the conclusion of the ceremony tho happy couple left the Churoh to the inspiring and folioitous strains of Mendelssohn's Wedding March, The bride, who lookod charming, was attired in a fascinating costume, of deep ivory satin, trimmed with laco of tho same colour, and wearing tho customary wreath and veil. The bridesmaids—Miss Grace Paul and Miss Nora O'Carroll—wore pale green silk dresses, draped with white lace and ribbons to match, also "picture " bats of white velvet, decked with mavguorites and ribbon —a bewitching tai< ememblel Each bore a lovely bouquet of pure wh'jtb clematis. Subsequently a reception was held at "Woodleigh," the residence of the parents of tho bride. The presents, which wore numerous,, tasteful, and costly, inoluded the bridegroom's gift to the brido of a gold watcb,and to the bridesmaids' of handsome golden bangles.
