Bush, S.M., has brought this fact into prominence. Donald Dinnic, tho well-known athlete, who is, at present touring the tfrfrtli with' a variety company, iras charged under section 5, subsection G, of tho Children's Protection Act, 1800, with allowing his daughter under 10 years of age to take part in a performance at which prices of admission were charged. Mr Bush imposed a h'noof £5 with costs, or in default fourteen days' imprisonment.
