Received May 4,11.15 a.m. Sydney, May 4. The Assembly has negatived tho motion in favour of universal suffrage, and tho non-admittance of anyone to civil service excepting holders of electoral rights in the Colony.
Mkldourxe, May 4 The revenue for April shows an increase of £28,000 over last April, Of this tho railways contributed £IO,OOO. For the ten months of the financial year there has been a comparative decrease of £197,000. The treasurer estimates that the deficit at the end of tho financial year will be £112,000.
