(From Our Own Correspondent), Saturday.

The annual Ram and Ewe Fair under the auspices of the Wairarapa Pastoral and Agricultural Society was held yesterday, The sales under the hammer were few and the bidding was without animation. Tho bulk of the sales effected wero made privately and in some cases under reserves. Tho auctioneers were Messrs Lowes and lorns, and Mr F. H. Wood.
