Roylance was to receive one-third of the amount realised from the two estates.

After gaining possession of all tho details of this horrible schome, Roylance informed the police of Boyd's proposals.

Dempsoy gavo in detail a number of business transactions lie had had with the accused, with whom he was on friendly terms; and preparations wore in progress for Boyd to draw up wills of both Miss Jones and himself.

It was so arranged, Dempsey stated, that Boyd should net as guardian to the girl in tho event of anything happening to the witness.
