The market has been weak for the past fortnight. New Zealand longberried wheat is quoted at 24s 9d Hat; Adelaide wheat, 265; Victorian 24s 6d weaker. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom, on the 30th January was 3,300,000 quarters as compared with 3,220,000 quarters, the quantity afloat on the 16th January. The quantity afloat forthe Continent on the 30th ult, was 840,000 quarters as compared with 910,000 quarters on the 16th January, estimated at 111,700,000 bushels and on the 30th ult, at 180,849,000 bushels.

One of tlio bankrupts of last year, a Miss Spence, valued her assets, consisting of shares in land and other companies at £3,772,408, Dividends ranging from 2d in the £ upwards were paid in 15 estates whose aggregate debts amounted to £1,024,130. The imports of Australasian wool into the United Kingdom for the 11 months ending 30th Nov., 1894, was 489,752,5001b,va1uedat£17,5-/0,388. The total quantity of wool imported A into the United Kingdom from all 60urces during the same period amounted to 670,931,498 lbs valued ~ at £23,732,824. ? The exports from Broken Hill last year were valued at £2,321,545 as compared with £3,200,818 in 1893. The principal items were:—Silver ores, 137,385 tons, valued at £644,896; silver lead bu11i0n,42,509 tons, valued at £1,543,038; and silver ingots, 511,090 oz., valued at .. £61,194. The total amount of gold exported from West Australia last year was 207,1810z., valued at £787,098. Yilgarn contributed 136,8280z,, including 105,3290z. from Coolgardie, and' the Murchison sent 52,9460z.; 16,254 oz, came from Pilbarra. The quantity of wool imported into the United States for the eleven months ending 30th November, 1894, was 44,454,5941bs valued at £1,380,606 as againßt 50,758,063 , lb* valued at £1,675,357. 06 According to the. fourth annual 9 report of the Queensland Meat Export Agency Company, a profit of £19,625 was made last year. South Australia has forwarded to London this season 525 tons of butter, representing a clear gain of between £50,000 and £60,000. The Govern, menfc subsidy to the dairy industry, amounting to £12,000 has already been absorbed, although only two or three years over which the bonuses WOW have run out. .
