CASTEPOINT ROAD BOARD.

Ordinary Meeting. A meeting of the Board was hold in Tinn ion Saturday last. Piaffi: The Chairman, and Messrs ASmßv, Langdon, and Elder. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Letters were read from Messrs / "Murray, Roberts and Co. re rates on Waitawhiti. From County Clerkre grant made to County, with Engineer's report. From same with a/c for Engineer's work. From same re alteration of district boundaries. From ConstableCollertonreappoint- j ing half-holiday under the Shop and Shop Assistants Act, 1894. From Commissioner of Crown Lands with schedule of accrued thirds to 30th October, 1894,

Resolved that Messrs Langdon and Dakioll be appointed to arrange for the expenditure of the grant ou the Tinui-Alfredton road, and that the t Chairman with Messrs Androw and Elder bo appointed to arrange for the expenditure of the grant in Mangapakeha, and that tho metalling oa the big bill on the Tinui-Whakataki section bo continued from whore it was stopped last autumn. The Clerk was directed to writeio the County Engineer informing hj» of the appointment of arrange for tho expenditure of the grant made to the Council, and to procure timber for culverts. Accounts were passed for payment amounting to £23 16s 9d, and the meeting adjourned. /
