ALLEGED FRAUD.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association) Wbluxoios,'Thursday.' A man named William Smith, recently discharged from Auckland gaol, has been arrested on a charge of obtaining goods by fraud. Ho had, it is alleged, entered into arrangements for purchasing a property at the Hatt, for £4,000, and was negotiating for £3OO worth of furniture, Accused had taken in several tradesmen, including tailors and grocers, ■The prisoner, who was-remanded, has no means whatever,
