Our usual fortnightly salo was held in the yards on Wednesday, when we were favored with large ontries in both sheep and cattle, Pigs and horses were also wellrepresented, Bidding was, on the-whole, rather slower than on the occasion of our previous sales,and several lines wore passed in, but ultimately found bnyers at satisfactory prices, Pat sheep were not much enquired for, but those yarded (ewesonly)brought 6s 9d to 7a; 2-tootli wotliers, 7s 6d to 7s lOd; ewes with lambs at foot, 6s lid to 8s 6d; hoggets, 6s. Cattle' -Pat bullocks, £slos to £C; for-! ward bullocks, £4 10s; springing 1 heifers, £2los to £4 4s; yearlirigs, : 25s to 40s; calves, 15s to 21s. Pigs —small, 7s to Bs. Horses—hacks, £2 10s to £9 9s; light harness, £6 10s to £l4.
