Mr D. Crewe reports ofjiis stock sale at Pahiatua, on Tuesday, Dec. 18th, as follows:—The yards wero well filled with cattle, much in excess to tho quantity advertised, The attendance was good. Bidding soinowhat dragged at the commencement of the sale, but improved as we went on. Ultimately the bulk of the entries were quitted at tho following prices : 15 to 18 month old steers, 48s to 555; 18 months to 2 year old steers, 58s to 59s Gd; yearlings, good line, £2; strong weanors, 21s to 265; store cows, 50s to £3 2s Od; dairy cows, £8 to £6 ss; fat heifers, £4 to £4los. The Horse Sale on Saturday, tho entry was a largo one, attendance limited and bidding dull, but ultimately, we succeeded in quitting most lots at prices satisfactory to vendors.
