The village of Diana Marengo, situated in the lliviora, has just been the scene of an exceedingly tragic love duel between two young Italian girls, says a Genoa telegram, dated September 16. Both were in love with the same young man, and after several interviews as to which of the two should claim him as her own they decided to settle their dispute at the point of the knife in true Italian fashion. They proceeded to a wood near the village, and set upon each other with long,knives in a most savage fashion.
