FEATHERSTON NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent),
Friday. The lirst of this season's wool has gone from here, A consignment of Messrs Joseph and Phillips' from Dry River went down on Tuesday, and a consignment from Mr J. Phnrazyn's went down on Wednesday.
Fresh preparations are being made for the concert and tableaux on Tuesday evening, "Your Own " was present at a rehearsal last evening, and everything promises to gooff very well.
To-night tbo Juvenile Footballers' Social and Dance takes place, and there is every reason to believe that it will bo a great success. It is pleasing to note that wo have not so many unemployodinourmidst as we had some little wliilo backhand now that shearing is going on there is more likelihood of things still improving.
