GREYTOWN NOTES.

The weather still continues beautiful, and outdoor employment is in full swing. lively with Maoris, who are already securing every available housofor accommodation during the sitting of the Land Court. The concert in aid of tho Morrison's Bush Church™ a pronounced success last evening, The gems of the evening, judging by the applause they received, were given by a wellknown gentleman and lady, the former receiving two bouquets and the latter one—being thrown from the audience.
The remains vi the late Mr Pye were interred in the Greytown Cemetery last Wednesday afternoon. The llev. C. Murray conducted the service at tho grave. The quarterly meeting of the Wesleyan Church was hold at Greytown yesterday. The present quarter was reported as one of tho most successful held. Income for quarter exceeded expenditure by several pounds. The ttev, S. J. Gibson was unanimously invited to remain as Minister for the third year, Tho meeting congratulated the Trustees on the recent exhibition's success, financial and otherwise, Progress was reported throughout the Methodist Church in tho South Wairarapa.
