Occasionally we have considered it our duty to comment adversely on tho actions of the Masterton police, To-day Vi'chavoaihuclimorepleasing function to discharge, viz., to congratulate them upon the discovery and breaking np. of quite awholesale burglary depot iu this town. The description of the burglar's homo in another column reads almost like a romance, but truth is stranger than fiction, and we have to thank the Masterton police for a sensational capture, which reflects great credit ion them, and carries with it considerable comfort to the community.
