At tho monthly meeting of the Taratahi-Carterton Road Board hold on Saturday tho Treasurer reported the indebtedness of the Board at £llBO which was increased by accounts passed later on at tho mooting, amounting to £351, A discussion took place over the Waiohino bridge protection works, which are being carried on undor tho direction of the engineer to tho Featherston Road Board, the two Boards being jointly responsible forthe safety of the bridge, which is threatened at its Northern approach by the encroachment of tho river, Mr J.
