Further Particulars.
Particulars received yesterday concerning (he case of supposed small-pox at Elthain, show that the victim is a girl of about 12 years of age, daughter of a resident of Ivllham named Wallace, who is engineer at a mill at Neil road.
Dy Harrison, of Elthain, first reported the case, describing the symptoms us those of small pox, and his opinion has been corroborated by Dr Paget, of Stratford, who was subsequently called in. As, however, no particulars have yet been given to show the history of the infection, the Government have telegraphed asking for a further [report,

A telegram was received by the Government yesterday from the horough authorities at New Plymouth asking for information, arul suggesting that tberunniiig of trains from Elllmm should lie stopped. The Government, however, did not propose to lake such a step as that until further information has been received. The case appears to be quite an isolated one.- Tims.
