MASTSItTON-r»mAY. (Before Mr T. Hutchison, S.M.) Moore v McGuire.—This was a case in which Mr F. G. Moore, on behalf of the County Council, sued defendant for taking gravel out of the Waipowi river bed. The case was heard at the last sitting of tho Court, and His Worship had reserved judgment, He now fined defendant Is, without costs. J, C. Ingram v Lewis Holmes, Plaintiff, as Inspector of Nuisances, sued defendant for having a dog over six months of age in his possession, unregistered, ,
Plaintiff doposcd that ho usually! saw a spaniel dog' about with defendant. Defendant had since registered the dog. At this stugo tho case was withdrawn, no costs being allowed. Wostbrook v Coy, This caso was adjourned until next Court day. This was all the business.
