A woman has been found murdered in Halle, in Gftrtnany, and her body mutilated in a similar manner to the victims of ■" Jack the Hipper" in London, This is the third crime reported in Germany within a briefperiod.
A sensational. poisoning case is alleged v to have occurred .at Richmoud, Victoria, A man named Lewis Junker died on the 6th June, and his brother afterwards visited the housekeeper at the place, and was taken ill. Tlio symptoms denoted arsenical poisoning, and tlio body of Lewis, being exhumed, showed traces of that poison. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of tlio housekeeper, Mrs Neiilcl.
