Monthly Meging. ! JUr Parker wrote saying that he had completed his course of singing lessons to the teachers in the Wairarapa district. The attendance had been very large, many of them having travelled long distances at great inconvenience and sacrifice of time. He had received a memorial signed by 40 teachersasking that the course might be continued during tho winter months. He should be quite willing, if the Board considered fit, to continue his monthly visit, though at some sacrifice to his other engagements, and would suggest that notification be sent to the district, so that Ms next course might begin on its due date, Juno 9th. The Board unanimously accorded Mv Parker permission to continue the lessons. The report of the Committee which enquired into tho recent disputes at Pahiatua recommended that Mr 0. Lee (head master) and Miss Sees (assistant) should receive three months' notice. The report was adopted, Ths question of the Mangoone teacher- was referred to tho Chairman of the Board.
