The Appeal Court this morning gave judgment for the defendant in tho case of O'Brien v. Stead,.with costs on the highest scale. The case, was in connection with the Challenge Stakes won by Loyalty, at the Canterbury Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting in 1893: Leave was granted to appeal to the Privy Council.
